An aromatic trip to Nice

And so to the metropolis of Nice to extend the reach of Currencies Direct to the business fraternity.  The trip to Nice in a “car” owned by John Balodis” was intriguing in that it took some 20 minutes to identify the aroma emanating from the back, eventually we were able to identify it, Paella! how delightful!  Or it might have been delightful if it had not been in the car for several days, a little fishy to say the least.  As you would expect we are swamped by applications to affiliate to Currencies Direct and afterward we retire to the seventh floor outside bar for a digestive and a cigar whilst gazing down upon the beatifully lit fountains.  Mr Thornton Allen has kindly bought some cigars  designed to replenish my stock of Monetcristo No 2’s, however the cigars that he buys are so tiny , I lose them in my pocket!  Konstantin from AFA wins the champage draw for guessing the rate at which the eruo closed agains the £, but I suspect his technical misuse of his Iphone helped his guesswork!

To Cafe Latin in Valbonne  for “church” as it is known, a regular Friday morning gathering of the faithful on market day for coffee and crossants if you can get served! I bump into old friend Nick Freeman, the lawyer infamous for his abilities to protect the driving licences of such luminaries as Sir Alec Ferguson, Wayne Rooney and various pop stars who seem to have been wrongly accused of drink/driving.  This saint is revered almost everywhere, except by the police for some strange reason.  He has a house in the area and is down for a few days.  He wants to play golf but his handicap of 3 has just been cut to 2, so I am able to relieved to be able to refuse the invitation as I am about to board a plane for the UK.  Mr Humphreys is in the congregation,  but claims that after I drew attention to his hairstyle, he no longer reads this blog, but I would be very suprised if today he did not sneak a quick look today!
